I hold love in my hands
Ground down into dust
As love’s grip strangles us.
Under the weight of the world
All knowledge is crushing me
I am a thousand stones
I am so heavy.
Drowning in the shallows
And welling up again
Shedding old skin
Growing more to live in
I hold your face in my hands
Fingers wrapped in curls
With love out loud
Caught in my throat
I fold desire into words.
Let’s get away from here
Let’s shed the world.

NEW RELEASE: Goodtime Boys ‘Breathe’ from The Black Lodge Sessions
Directed by Ryan Mackfall, Produced by Crashburn Media. This video is part of a set so look out for more releases coming from the series.
Official Press Release:
The UK’s Goodtime Boys are out on their first ever US tour and are premiering their new video for the song “Breathe” (on their newly released What’s Left to Let Go) today. Directed by Ryan Mackfall from CashBurn Media, this live video captures Goodtime Boys in their most natural and poignant state. The band commented: “Breathe is a pretty simple song really. It’s about the fact that everyone comes from the same place, is born in fundamentally the same way, leaves the world the same way and should be treated equally. The point of the video was also a simple one, to show us playing as a band in a live environment we were comfortable with. Our friends Lewis Johns, who produces and records at the Ranch production house in Southampton and recorded the audio for the session, and Ryan Mackfall, who runs CrashBurn productions and directed the video, made this possible and fun for us.” Check out the video for “Breathe” here.
